Located in the heart of Gatlinburg, Myron Mixon BBQ is an original concept designed for 5x World Champion Pitmaster Myron Mixon. The 2,500 sq ft renovation transformed an existing restaurant into a vibrant, immersive dining experience. Working within the constraints of space, volume, and an active operational schedule, Lauderdale led the interior design, FF&E, procurement, and construction—all completed within a six-month timeline.
The design transports guests into the life of a Texas cowboy—gritty, soulful, and full of character. A wood-burning fireplace anchors the space, while bold textiles, warm finishes, and colorful accents reflect the Texas landscape at sunrise and sunset. Thoughtfully layered styling, artwork, and drapery enhance the sensory atmosphere, creating a space where the food, story, and spirit of the South come together in one unforgettable experience.
