Inspired by a handwritten note the client’s grandmother once left on his childhood chalkboard, the palette became the foundation for a space that feels both deeply personal and quietly refined. Warm wood tones, dark architectural contrasts, and restrained material selections create a masculine minimalism that allows the client’s collected art, objects, and travel mementos to take center stage.
Custom details throughout the space reinforce that layered sense of history. The mosaic tile detail on the range hood introduces an heirloom quality, adding texture and story while subtly reflecting the client’s years of travel. By opening the kitchen to the adjacent sunroom and introducing a new wet bar, the home now flows effortlessly for entertaining, with connected spaces that extend visually toward the pool beyond.
